Pesto without Garlic from Ranise is a raw and unpasteurized pesto that contains high quality ingredients like Basil D.O.P. from Liguria and Grana Padano D.O.P. cheese from Northern Italy. The flavour is bright fresh with a creamy consistency.

Ingredients: Genovese D.O.P. Basil 35%, Extra Virgin Olive Oil 30%, Cashew Nuts, Grana Padano D.O.P. cheese, Pecorino Romano D.O.P. cheese, whey, pine nuts, salt, citric acid.

Directions: Do not heat the pesto in the saucepan because you will lose some of the best basil aroma. Simply heat up the pesto by pouring the pesto in a bowl and adding some starchy water from the pot of boiling pasta water.

Company History:

The Ranise family lives in the Taggiasca olive-growing area of Liguria where these small and flavourful olives have been cultivated for over 1,000 years. Taggiasca olives are picked from trees whose roots are tangled in the steep rocky slate walls of the ancient terracing of this seaside valley. Ranise family also grows basils, garlic and walnuts and produces authentic and delicious Basil and Walnut Pesto.
