Acacia Honey 28gr

Mieli Thun's Acacia honey sourced from Italian Acacia flowers. It is a delicate and light straw-yellow colored honey with undertones of sugared almonds and vanilla.

It pairs well with goat cheeses, pecorini and blue cheeses. It can be enjoyed also in fruit salads, yogurt, or tea.

Location of Bees: Lombardia, Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige.

Company History:

The story of Mieli Thun begins in the summer of 1921, when impassioned beekeeper Andrea Paternoster started producing his own honey in his home in the northern region of Trentino-Alto Adige. He found that, after exclusively pollinating flowers in the nearby Italian Alps, his bees produced an exquisite honey. Andrea began experimenting with different flowers, and Mieli Thun was born.

Today, Andrea’s grandson leads Mieli Thun, and he is indebted to his grandfather for his first and last name, in addition to an infinite love for honey and beekeeping. His team of nomadic beekeepers continues to wander the hillsides and fields of Italy, carefully following seasons of dozens of different types of flowers and seeking local colonies of bees.
