Prunotto Mariangela organic farm is based in Alba, near Cuneo, in the region of Piemonte. For over 20 years this family run company has cultivated in their land fruits and vegetables by using only Organic Farming. Directions: Enjoy this authentic Italian Pesto with Genovese Basil DOP with Trofie, Linguine, Lasagne or Gnocchi. Note: do not heat the pesto in the saucepan because you will lose some of the best basil aroma. Simply heat up the pesto by pouring the pesto in a bowl and adding some starchy water from the pot of boiling pasta water.
